The Mirror (*cough*) reports, that the Spice Girls refuse to release a greatest hits album since they don't want to spend anytime anymore with each other, although "a close source" says they really need the money, claiming that "the only one with any financial security is Victoria - and that's only because she's married to a very rich husband."

We've also been told that it's still up in the air as to whether or not Melanie's duet of 'Bohemiam Rhapsody' with Russell Watson will be on Russell's upcoming album 'Encore' or not. They say they are still in talks about it.

With Russell's album coming up so soon, I'm under the impression that it's been removed from his album. I'm also not surprised to hear that the Sun stories are false.

UK newspaper, The Sun reports that the Spice Girls are over, with sources claiming the squabbling has gotten so bad that they can't even meet as a group where they can release an official statement confirming the break-up.

An 'insider' says:

"The girls haven't actually sat down together and decided the band is over because some of them are not on speaking terms with the others. But with four bickering stars and no one manager to keep them together, there is no chance of them carrying on. They could have made up to £100million from a tour and a new album but instead they have let personalities get in the way. There is still a Spice Girl company but that's just a technicality."

Well, what more to say? I say don't trust it until there is any official statements of the sort from the Spice Camp.

Melanie is believed to be a Buddhist now, converted by boyfriend Max Beesley. It looks like she has been spotted doing some ying and yang thing at the London Centre of Buddhism in Bethnal Green.

Mrs Beckham sacked her manager Nancy Phillips after her first single from her solo-album flopped. She blames it on Nancy's bad choice of the track and wrong promotion.

Melanie B called Victoria a cow after she felt that Victoria didn't support Melanie's solo-carrer enough like the other girls did. She said Victoria was "unsympathetic" when Melanie was dropped as a solo-artist by Virgin. Melanie was also jealous that Victoria got better treatment from the Spice team, a "close source" said both haven't talked to each other for three months now.

Worldpop even tops this, saying Melanie quit the Spice Girls after the huge row with Victoria..

Alright, at first I didn't want to post this at all, it sounds like one of the stupidest tabloid-reports ever. I do NOT believe all this and the conclusion that Mel B leaves the Spice Girls because of that is just pure nonsense! DON'T BELIEVE THE TABLOIDS! They soo often make up stuff, it's not even worth bothering, trust me. For all of those who still think "ooh, there must be some truth behind it", there is NOT, maybe you should read "Spiced Up" by Muff Fitzgerald (order on amazon.co.uk) to see what tabloids are really like and you'll understand :) So we should all calm down now and maybe wait for an official response, as long as you don't hear it from Virgin/The Girls themselves or read it here, don't believe it! :)
